Louise Cutting is an accomplished designer, fashion sewer and successful sewing
instructor. Louise has lectured nationally at ASG, Viking Conventions, several
sewing expos, and G-Street Fabrics. She is the former fashion design department
head at the Art Institute in Fort Lauderdale and Prospect Hall College. Louise
is also the Premiere Husqvarna Viking dealer in Orlando with 3 locations.
She is a professional Fashion Illustrator. Louise handled the daily newspaper
and catalogue fashion ads for a major department store and for the Joseph
Advertising Agency, creating advertising for national accounts. Many of her
illustrations have appeared on the pages of Vogue and Harpers Bazaar. For the
'Cutting Line Designs' Pattern Company, Louise designed the concept, the cover
illustrations, drafted the patterns, created the original garment designs, and
illustrated the step-by-step instructions and text.
For ten years Louise was the Department Head of the Fashion Merchandising and
Design program at The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale and Prospect Hall College.
She taught Interior Design at Mary Mount College. |
